    ATHEIST CELEB INTERVIEW on CHRISTIAN TV (Why?) TBN early early AM today, Dr. John McDougal's show was actress Ruta Lee (73) interviewing Phyllis Diller (now 92, but 91 @ time of interview). Many "lovely" things they covered (comedy, charities, painting, piano, tragedies, being thankful, helping others, etc.) but NOT ONE MENTION of the Lord Jesus Christ or God by either of them. So I wondered what was the point of the interview (especially for TBN)? That you can be a "good person" without God? Or what? So I googled Phyllis Diller, it turns out she's an avowed atheist: http://www.nndb.com/people/221/000022155/ & http://www.celebatheists.com/?title=Phyllis_Diller & http://www.danndulin.com/phyllisdiller.html . Those links have quotes by Phyllis re her belief system: Man made up God, evolution is how we got here, there is no such thing as an afterlife, gay pride and AIDS activist, etc. Then I googled Ruta Lee but no quick obvious reference re her faith showed up (often wiki will say). So is Ruta Lee a Christian or not? This one link showed up: http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1298&dat=19720823&id=owsUAAAAIBAJ&sjid=...,2652148. It's a 1972 newspaper pic and article, shows Ruta Lee with, of all people, Henry Kissinger (globalist, Bilderberg, CFR, Trilateralist, secret society elitist, and Trustee/Aspen Institute globalist think-tank, etc.) Under the pic of Ruta and Henry in that 1972 newspaper, it says she attended some convention with him. But under that is a big headline re plans for a "Jesus Festival". Since the newspaper print is so blurry from this iPhone I cannot determine if the pic and headline are related. Either way I hope Ruta Lee does not still hang out with Henry K, he is one evil dude! :-/ : http://www.christianlifeandliberty.net/2009-01-07-Kissinger-Obama-NewWorldOrd... Getting back to the Phyllis Diller interview, I don't see the point of showcasing anti-God celebs on Christian TV. To be frank, I'm sick to death of celebdom being gorged upon us from every direction. WHO CARES? The only "celebs" I'd love to hear about their lives are those who have become my brother or sister in Christ. If Dr McDougal had wound up his program by saying, "Let's all pray for the salvation of the soul of Phyllis Diller", then OK, I see the point. Otherwise, Ms Funny Lady herself is going to end up laughing herself all the way to hell for all eternity. So come on, Phyllis, please wake from your stupor. No amount of laughter, charitable deeds, nor "being thankful" will wash away yours nor anyone's sins. But only by faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ who paid for your/our sins will any of us be saved. Phyllis is getting up there in years. The clock is ticking.
